there was nothing passive about the second one..
"You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and five minutes later they’re as dull as a brick? Then there’s other people, when you meet them you think, "Not bad, they’re okay." And then you get to know them and…their face just sort of becomes them. Like their personality’s written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful."
Hi! Hello, I just wanted to talk about Christine, and how much I’ve come to adore her. She’s come to hold a very special place in my heart for infinite reasons, but I will refrain to talking about just three. First of all her kindness, her need to help little ballerinas even when the threat of her abuser constantly hovers over her, the compassion she shows to the Phantom, by loving him when no one else would, simply how much she tries and help everyone in the story. Be it Raoul, Madame Valerius, Erik, or anyone. Her strength is also something I am in awe of every single day, this girl has been poor all her life, worked for everything she has. Even when her father died, she didn’t allow grief to overcome her, even though she lost both her parents before she was even an adult. And when the Phantom comes in, manipulating her emotionally and scarring her for life, she does not give in. She is strong, level-headed, and compassionate no matter how much this man and the world have hurt her. And lastly, lastly, she survived. This is very important to me, you see, because we all go through many struggles in life where we don’t think we’re going to make it. Christine was faced with so much hardship and pain at such a young and tender age, I have no doubt the idea of giving up crossed her mind to time, that she often felt depressed. But in the end, this girl escapes her abuser, comes to accept her past, and, we all hope, has a bright future full of happiness. And in all the stories I’ve heard, all the characters I’ve loved, her’s is the one that gives me the most hope for myself and everyone around me.
Nine years ago today - David Tennant was announced as the new Doctor, taking over for Christoper Eccleston.
From Doctor Who 24/7:
Speaking at the time, David said: “I am delighted, excited and honoured to be the Tenth Doctor! I grew up loving Doctor Who and it has been a lifelong dream to get my very own TARDIS.”
“Russell T Davies is one of the best writers television has ever had, and I’m chuffed to bits to get the opportunity to work with him again. I’m also really looking forward to working with Billie Piper who is so great as Rose.”
“Taking over from Chris is a daunting prospect; he has done a fantastic job of reinventing the Doctor for a new generation and is a very tough act to follow.”
this really works for some people (like 10-30 new followers) so give it a try!
It’s very important that people see this
Very very important
i think it’s a universal truth that everyone in our generation takes pluto’s losing its planetary status as a personal offense
pluto is smaller than russia. why did we ever even consider it a planet?

OHANA MEANS FAMILY
FAMILY MEANS NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND
